Joadja is the oldest Vineyard and Winery in the NSW Southern Highlands. Interest in growing grapes in a cool-climate led us to planting vines this high, cool region in the early 1980s, recognising the potential of this district for premium grapegrowing, with its cool nights, warm days and extended autumn.
At 730 metres above sea level , grapes ripen slowly developing intense flavour, freshness, character and complexity.
SouthernHighlandsWine.com.au is a site dedicated to exploring and enjoying the wines and wineries of the NSW Southern Highlands in Australia. Here you will find articles on the local wineries, the Southern Highlands Wine Trail, Southern Highlands Winery Tours, and so much more.
There are over 50 wineries in the Southern Highlands and about 20 of them have cellar doors open to the public for wine tasting and direct sales. These cellar doors make up the Southern Highlands Wine Trail.
